Fiber Washing

Every fleece begins with a thorough wash to remove dirt, dust, and excess debris while preserving the natural qualities of the fiber. Clean fiber is the foundation of a beautiful finished product.

Fiber Picking

After washing, fiber is picked to open the locks, remove remaining debris, and prepare it for carding. This step helps create a more uniform and workable fiber.

Batt Processing

Batts are soft, lofty sheets of carded fiber that are ideal for felting, spinning from the fold, blending, and a variety of fiber arts. Batts are available in natural colors or custom blends provided by the customer.

Roving Processing

Roving is a continuous rope of carded fiber ready for spinning, felting, weaving preparation, and other fiber projects. This is one of the most popular options for fiber artists and hand spinners.

Custom Fiber Blending

Have multiple colors or fibers you'd like combined? We offer custom blending based on your specifications. Fibers must be clearly labeled and prepared prior to processing.

Custom Spinning

Looking for finished yarn? Through our partnership with local fiber artist Kelsey, processed fiber can be transformed into custom-spun yarn. Contact us for current spinning options, pricing, and availability.
